The nutrition at Mount Amelia Boot Camp is designed for sustainability once you have returned home. It is our goal to provide easy to prepare, simple but delicious meals to maximize your weight loss. All meals will be prepared using fresh, local produce that are easily accessible within your local community. All meals will be well balanced providing you with the right nutrients to sustain energy levels, increase metabolic rate to boost weight loss.
Mount Amelia Boot Camp guarantees weight loss but also strives to facilitate a life long healthy lifestyle. Therefore throughout your stay you will receive nutritional advice and an information pack to assist in your success upon returning home.
Food
‘Delicious and Nutritious’ food is what we aim to provide during your stay. Our chefs are from Berwyn Catering & Events and have experience in healthy eating events and courses. The following is a typical menu for the day: Breakfast:
Poached egg on sourdough toast
Porridge with blueberry compote
Peach smoothie and freshly-squeezed juices
Lunch:
Lemon and fennel marinated chicken with mint raita
Char-grilled purple sprouting with red chilli and sesame dressing
Red quinoa and wild rice with black lentils
Spinach and rocket salad with walnut and lime dressing
Mango, papaya and pomegranate fruit salad
Dinner:
Tomato and saffron soup ‘au pistou’
Sea bass fillet with braised Puy lentils and spinach, slow-roasted tomatoes and basil oil
Damson fool with granola
